1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or enrolling in any program offered by Yoga Academy Online (YAO), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
2. Account Creation
To access our programs, you must create an account on yogaacademyonline.org. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary.
3. Enrollment & Access
Upon successful enrollment and payment, you will receive lifetime access to the content included in your purchased program or module. Access is granted to you personally and may not be shared, transferred, or resold to any third party.
4. Intellectual Property
All content available on YAO — including but not limited to videos, texts, images, course materials, and program structures — is the exclusive property of Yoga Academy Online and its instructors. You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or sell any part of our content without prior written permission from YAO.
5. Permitted Use
Our programs are intended for personal and professional development only. You agree to use the content solely for your own learning and teaching practice. Any commercial use, redistribution, or reproduction of YAO content is strictly prohibited.
6. Payment & Pricing
All prices are displayed on our platform and are subject to change without notice. Payment must be completed in full — or according to the agreed instalment plan — before access to the program is granted. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout.
7. Instalment Payments
YAO offers the option to split your payment into instalments at no extra cost. The total price remains the same regardless of the payment option chosen. In the event of a failed instalment payment, access to the program may be suspended until payment is received.
8. Refund Policy

9. Certification
Upon successful completion of the program requirements, you will receive a certificate of completion from YAO. Eligibility to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®) is subject to Yoga Alliance's own requirements and policies, which are independent of YAO.
10. Code of Conduct
By joining the YAO community, you agree to engage respectfully with instructors and fellow students. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will result in immediate termination of your account without refund.
11. Disclaimer
The content provided by YAO is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new physical practice, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition.
12. Limitation of Liability
YAO shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of our platform or the practice of yoga as taught in our programs. You participate at your own risk.
13. Modifications to Terms
YAO reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our platform. Continued use of our platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from the use of our platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swiss courts.
